3. Indian Student Earns Global Design Patent for Sustainable Watch

What happened: A 21-year-old design student from NIFT Bengaluru received an international design patent for “Olavu,” a wristwatch inspired by traditional Channapatna craftsmanship and crafted using sustainable materials like lacquered wood and recycled aluminum.

4. IP University Introduces IKS Innovation Centre
